Statistics: Russia’s car output slides by 78% on year in January

MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s car output fell by 77.6% on the year and by 47.1% on the month to 21,300 vehicles in January, the Federal State Statistics service said on Wednesday.

The production of trucks decreased by 35.4% on the year and by 62.2% on the month to 5,800.

In 2022, the car output fell by 67% on the year to 450,000 and the truck one by 24.3% on the year to 141,000.
